There are two types of knowing in this world. Conceptual (facts), and experiential (lived). When it comes to our health, facts won’t get us far. Unfortunately, nobody got fit by listening to a talk on fitness, did they?

So it’s the companies that offer full-length stress-reduction training that see the longest-lasting change and reap the highest rewards.

“The Resilience Advantage” is a new, improved version of the gold-standard stress-reduction course I introduced to IBM after burning out whilst working there. It’s powerful, rooted in science, mainstream, and achievable by even the busiest people. But why bother with a longer course?

Let’s stay with the fitness analogy. We can neither compress the benefits of 6 weeks’ of regular exercising into one hour, nor shortcut the amount of work required to enjoy high levels of fitness can we? And the same is true for good, lasting mental health.

Here’s a sneak peek at the themes during our time together

During each of our 6 weeks, we’ll work through a 1 hour masterclass covering a new theme, as well as twice-weekly 15 minute practice sessions (so we can start to embed this into our lives). Everyone is given follow-up tips and tasks to practise in between weeks. Critically, I’ll monitor what’s working for your employees and what isn’t, to build them a completely bespoke plan.
